Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical/Thermal Engineer, you will:
  • Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems and thermal solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design margin assessments, and validation testing on both new and modified designs.
  • Lead and support architectural development and evaluations.
  • Assess the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and production techniques.
  • Address thermal challenges related to server designs, focusing on cost-effective cooling solutions that excel in thermal and acoustic performance.
  • Engage in system-level thermal design, emphasizing fan and heatsink technology, materials science, fluid dynamics, and control logic.
  • Oversee initial concept development, mechanical design, and thermal simulations using software tools.
  • Collaborate with vendors on various technical matters, which may involve some travel.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Mechanical or Thermal Design.
  • Proficiency in ProEngineer, Solidworks, or other 3D CAD software.

  • Experience in designing sheet metal and plastic components along with production tooling.
  • Familiarity with CFD and thermal mockups for validating thermal solutions.

  • Risk management understanding and assessment skills.
