Role Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical/Thermal Engineer, you will:
  • Design, assess, and refine materials, mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design margin evaluations, and validation analyses, along with empirical testing on both new and modified designs.
  • Lead or support architectural development and assessments.
  • Evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and production techniques.
  • Oversee the development of cost-effective cooling solutions that excel in thermal and acoustic performance.
  • Engage in system-level thermal design, focusing on fan and heatsink technology, materials science, fluid dynamics, and control logic.
  • Participate in initial concept development, mechanical design, thermal simulation oversight, and solution validation.
  • Interface with vendors on various technical matters, with potential for some travel.

Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Mechanical or Thermal Design.
  • Proficiency in ProEngineer, Solidworks, or other 3D CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A solid understanding of electronics packaging.
  • Experience in designing sheet metal and plastic components, along with associated production tooling and processes.
  • Familiarity with CFD and thermal mockups for validating thermal solutions.
  • A passion for technology and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
