Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and enhance materials, mechanical systems, and packaging solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design margin assessments, and validation tests on both new and modified designs.
  • Lead or support architecture development and evaluation efforts.
  • Assess the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and production techniques.
  • Oversee the development of effective cooling solutions that excel in thermal and acoustic performance.
  • Engage in system-level thermal design, focusing on fan and heatsink technologies, materials science, and fluid dynamics.
  • Interface with vendors to address various technical challenges, with potential for international travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Mechanical or Thermal Design.
  • Proficiency in ProEngineer, Solidworks, or similar 3D CAD software.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in electronics packaging and designing sheet metal and plastic components.
  • Familiarity with CFD and thermal mockups for validating thermal solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
