Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will play a crucial role in roadmapping, architecting, designing, and developing innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Leadership**: Recruit, organize, and lead a team of skilled engineers to foster a culture of fast-paced, high-quality craftsmanship.
  • **Roadmapping and Design**: Translate customer requirements into actionable roadmaps and incremental system features. Design systems and review designs by others.
  • **Development and Deployment**: Implement systems yourself and oversee the team's implementation tasks to ensure successful deployment and continued operations for customers.
  • **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customers, to bring cutting-edge technology to life.
  • **Communication**: Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
Requirements
  • **Technical Expertise**: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, React, etc.). Experience with AI, machine learning, and large language models is a plus.
  • **System Architecture**: Strong system architecture and design skills. Knowledge of real-time streaming systems is a plus.
  • **Cloud Platforms**: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • **Leadership Experience**: Proven ability to recruit, organize, and lead engineering teams.
  • **Mentoring and Development**: Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
  • **Project Management**: Strong project management skills.
  • **Analytical and Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • **Code Reviews and Quality Assurance**: Experience with code reviews and quality assurance.
  • **Adaptability**: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Qualifications
  • **Education**: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • **Experience**: Proven experience in a similar engineering leadership role within a fast-paced startup environment.
  • **Technical Knowledge**: Deep hands-on knowledge of software development and architecture.
  • **AI and Machine Learning**: Extensive experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
  • **Programming Languages**: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
  • **Leadership and Communication**: Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, and develop engineering teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • **Project Management and Adaptability**: Strong project management skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable plans, as well as adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
