Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager within the CLM Collaboration Team, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing features for a suite of collaboration and negotiation tools within DocuSign's CLM and Intelligent Agreement Management products. You will lead a group of full stack engineers and oversee the delivery of new functionalities. Your role will involve coordinating with other engineering managers and teams to engage employees in the product development process. Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders in software development to construct a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision. This position entails responsibilities as a people manager, hiring manager, technical leader, and delivery manager, ensuring effective collaboration with teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement our product roadmap utilizing agile methodologies
  • Develop and sustain a collection of highly scalable, efficient, and reliable services
  • Collaborate with partner teams to create solutions that cater to diverse team needs
  • Engage with the Product Management team to gather requirements and design the next generation of services
  • Enhance the performance and dependability of existing services
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • Support the mentorship and development of team members
Work Arrangement

Hybrid: Employees will split their time between remote work and in-office presence, with a minimum of two days per week required in the office.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5+ years of combined experience in software development and management across various languages and frameworks
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing software teams of six or more
  • Proven experience in leading full stack engineering teams

Preferred

  • Proven success in leading geographically diverse teams
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks
  • Experience managing mid to large-sized full stack teams
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms
  • Experience with advanced web applications and test-driven development on the client side
  • Knowledge of large, complex data ecosystems and data quality management
  • A track record of being a change agent, improving every team and process
  • Expertise in high-scale, highly available systems
  • Proficiency in CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML, or MVC
  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)
  • A history of identifying and nurturing talent
  • Experience in full stack SaaS development
  • Experience launching initial versions of products
Compensation Transparency

In accordance with applicable laws, the following salary ranges apply:

California: $151,800 - $245,150 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800 - $214,350 base salary

This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
