Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Banking team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
- Provide expert advice on commercial banking products and services, ensuring clients receive the best possible solutions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Develop and manage client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on commercial banking products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure the bank remains competitive and compliant.
- Typically 5-7 years of experience in commercial banking or a related field, with a strong understanding of business development and relationship management.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or economics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
