As a Business Relationship Manager I, you will deliver a variety of services (primarily commercial lending and treasury management solutions) to business clients through proactive business development and relationship stewardship.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with both new and existing commercial clients.
- Actively promote a diverse range of banking services tailored to meet the needs of business proprietors.
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions within your designated authority.
- Prepare and present credit evaluations and recommendations for borrowing requests.
- Conduct credit assessments to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
Engage in ongoing credit risk management through daily oversight of the loan portfolio; ensure accurate risk ratings are maintained at all times. Regularly monitor all credits through periodic evaluations and analyses. Enhance awareness of the Bank and its offerings through community engagement. Assist loan support personnel as needed. Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, security protocols, and governmental regulations.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven capability to establish and nurture new business relationships.
- Exceptional relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of local markets.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to underwrite and structure commercial credits.
- Familiarity with treasury management products.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to commercial lending and appraisal standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $97,349 - $114,529.
- Incentive and commission compensation may be available for eligible positions.
- Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, and life insurance.
- Paid vacation, sick leave, and 11 company-paid holidays.
- 401k plan with up to 4% matching.
