Job Title: Manager, Event Partnerships

Job Summary:

The American Hotel & Lodging Association is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Event Partnerships to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our conferences and events, including The Hospitality Show, AHLA's HTNG Europe and Asia Pacific conferences, and other partner events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate speaker logistics and outreach for The Hospitality Show, including creating and maintaining speaker collateral, travel arrangements, and room blocks.
  • Assist in managing AHLA's HTNG Europe and Asia Pacific conferences, including logistics, content research, and program development.
  • Manage and execute GM Awards and ALIS Student Ambassador Program alongside The Hospitality Show.
  • Execute event logistics, including function specifications, food and beverage, and audio-visual arrangements.
  • Work closely with senior department team members on event production and content research.
  • Coordinate event marketing materials with the AHLA Marketing Team.
  • Assist with event financials and expense tracking.
  • RFP, site research, and contracting for events and meetings as assigned.
  • Logistics for association committee meetings as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Excellent computer and software knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer-service focused with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally (20-25%).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $70,000-$75,000.
  • Rotating hybrid work schedule: In-office Tues-Thurs and Mon-Thurs every other week.
