Responsibilities :
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the National Sales Territory, specifically targeting the Mid Market and non-named National Account segments (companies with 500 to 999 employees). Utilize direct outreach methods such as calls, emails, and other communication channels to identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities by engaging with Key Decision Makers. Enhance prospecting and sales efforts through field activities, including building walks, lobby events, property management relationships, and face-to-face meetings with customers. Employ consultative and relationship-driven selling techniques to identify current and future connectivity solutions for clients. Assist Cogent customers and prospects by effectively positioning our services to generate new business. Meet monthly revenue targets by selling services into the largest commercial and retail buildings, office parks, and professional campuses across the nation.Qualifications :
2-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B environments and within the technology sector. A successful track record in sales is essential, with recent experience being highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with revenue-driven deadlines. Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems is advantageous. A college degree is preferred.Work Environment:
This position is office-based five days a week to facilitate focused mentorship, training, and personal coaching for optimal success.COVID-19 Policy:
