Job Overview

Position Summary:
Dondelinger Ford CDJR is in search of a detail-oriented and efficient individual to fill the role of Office Manager. This full-time, salaried position is situated within the Accounting & Finance division of the automotive sector.

The Office Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the operational aspects of our dealership, contributing significantly to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations, leading a team of administrative personnel.
  • Establish and execute procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency and precision in office workflows.
  • Generate financial reports and other documentation for management review.
  • Address customer and vendor inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee payroll processing on a semimonthly basis.
  • Support HR functions, including onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and conducting performance assessments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and task coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as directed by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (experience with CDK is advantageous).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
