Job Overview

Position Summary:
Dondelinger Ford CDJR is on the lookout for a meticulous and dependable individual to fill the role of Office Manager. This is a full-time, salaried position within the Accounting & Finance division of the automotive sector.

The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in the overall administration of our dealership and will be located in one of our Minnesota offices.

This position provides a pathway for professional development and career advancement within our organization.


Compensation & Benefits:

The Office Manager role offers a competitive salary based on experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k plan, paid time off, and additional perks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily functions of the office, including leading a team of administrative personnel.
  • Design and execute procedures to enhance efficiency and precision in office operations.
  • Prepare financial reports and other documentation for management review.
  • Address customer and vendor inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee payroll processing on a semimonthly basis.
  • Support HR functions such as onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and conducting performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective communication and task coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with various projects and responsibilities as directed by senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (experience with CDK is advantageous).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
