Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective internal controls.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and review regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and advise management on implications.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and compliance efforts.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and analyze budget variances.
- Implement and maintain budgeting and financial forecasting tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing policies and procedures to prevent fraud and errors.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of internal controls and processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped to meet financial objectives.
- Promote collaboration and communication within the finance department and with other departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Utilize technology and automation to streamline accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to optimize working capital.
