Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate precise and timely financial reporting packages.
  • Execute month-end closing journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze and prepare timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring prompt invoice payments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to devise enhancement strategies and make financially prudent business choices.
  • Coordinate with auditors for annual audits as necessary.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Oversee credit card transactions, including uploads into QuickBooks.
  • Manage bank account transactions, ensuring proper uploads into QuickBooks.
  • Guarantee adherence to all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Compile federal and state documentation for tax accountants.
  • Prepare annual sales tax returns.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are established for accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with the company's insurance agent on annual renewals.
  • Administer the 1099 and TIN matching program, filing reports with the IRS.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks desktop accounting software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.

This position is conducted on-site, within the office environment.
