Position Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer and Architect to lead the engineering and architectural strategy for a diverse range of products that integrate artificial intelligence, software, firmware, and hardware to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our clients. This role demands a proven track record in overseeing the technical facets of intricate engineering initiatives and the capacity to assess trade-offs while crafting architectural solutions at the system level across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convert both immediate and long-term product needs into a robust architectural framework that informs design specifications for AI, software, firmware, and hardware elements.
  • Effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere within the engineering teams.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to product development personnel, facilitating decision-making that involves complex trade-offs across AI, software, firmware, and hardware.
  • Oversee the development, integration, and evaluation of AI-enhanced solutions.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of system architecture, design choices, and technical protocols.
  • Work closely with researchers and product leaders to shape the long-term product strategy.
Travel Requirements: 5-15%

Work Environment: Hybrid model with a mix of in-office and remote work.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience encompassing embedded systems engineering, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in developing systems utilizing advanced SoCs and processors from industry leaders.
  • Proficiency in designing systems with constraints related to battery life, thermal management, and spatial limitations.
  • Experience in creating edge solutions with on-device AI capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ARM architecture and associated development tools.
  • A proven history of bringing systems to successful production.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to guide a team in addressing complex challenges and making impactful engineering decisions.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in deploying on-device neural networks using various SDKs.
  • Background in developing embedded systems in secure environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
