Job Overview:

Our client, a prominent organization in the Diagnostics sector, is in search of a Senior Systems Engineer. This position is critical for driving innovation and ensuring the effectiveness of systems engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate design concepts and actively engage in design evaluations, development, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct reliability assessments and evaluate system interactions.
  • Support the creation of manufacturing processes and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and propose engineering solutions.
  • Mentor team members in the application of company policies, procedures, and standard practices.
  • Utilize functional expertise to contribute effectively to projects.
  • Work under general supervision while exercising significant discretion in task execution.
  • Play a vital role in defining and achieving project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Lead or participate in initiatives to develop new components, products, or processes.
  • Identify and address technical challenges proactively.
  • Implement enhancements to operational processes.
  • Design and create potentially patentable components or processes.
  • Plan and execute tasks related to project deliverables.
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate project hypotheses.
  • Apply advanced scientific principles to project work, prioritizing experimental tasks effectively.
  • Independently design and carry out experiments.
  • Utilize Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies as necessary.
  • Ensure high-quality experimental outcomes through robust design practices.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional technical teams.
  • Establish collaborative interfaces with other organizational units.
  • Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to colleagues.
  • Educate team members and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Engage in project planning, process improvements, and contribute to experimental design efforts.
  • Prepare and present project findings to diverse audiences, effectively communicating data and insights.
  • Monitor project work to uphold quality standards and promote a culture of Quality First Time.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 years of experience with a Master's Degree.
