Essential Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Science or Engineering field is required.


• Proficient in software engineering with a robust background in C, C++, Python, and LabWindows/CVI.


• Over 10 years of pertinent experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing Software teams.


• Capable of providing technical guidance in diagnosing and addressing system challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.


• Expertise in requirements analysis and decomposition.


• Proficient in Systems Design, Integration, Validation & Verification processes.


• Engaging with customers effectively.


• Responsible for project oversight, coordination, and management of budget and schedule.


• Must be a US Person.

Additional Qualifications:


• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and experience in multithreaded environments and embedded systems is preferred.


• Skilled in producing technical documentation and deriving software requirements from client inputs, along with knowledge of DO-178B/DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 certification standards.


• In-depth understanding of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.


• Experience with tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest, DOORS, and BITBUCKET.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Ability to quickly adapt to new teams and project-specific processes while leveraging past experience; adept at navigating changing environments, foreseeing issues, and eliminating obstacles.


• Competent in applying technical concepts to specific tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.


• Proficient in breaking down complex problems into manageable components and organizing systematic approaches to solutions.


• Ability to collaborate across various disciplines (hardware, software, systems) in a team setting, possessing strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse organizations and individuals.


• Skilled in fostering and integrating innovative ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing contingency plans.


• Exhibits a positive, proactive attitude; a highly motivated individual capable of self-initiating, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
