Job Summary

TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of our business, including local area networks, wide area networks, and wireless networks.
  • Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure network uptime and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to the development of our network engineering team.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product, and architecture, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on RF network engineering.
  • Certifications: CCNP or equivalent certification.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols, including MPLS, OSPF, and BGP. Experience with Nokia, Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, and Fortinet products. Ability to design, configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Wireless Radio Network Systems: Experience with creating detailed network documentation.
  • Knowledge of Motorola Astro system: Ability to partner with software engineering, product, and architecture to shape engineering approaches, and share knowledge and experience.
Work Environment

TalentBurst is a dynamic and fast-paced company that requires our employees to be adaptable and flexible. This role may require working outside in varying temperatures, the ability to stand, bend, sit and/or kneel for prolonged periods of time, climb a 6-foot ladder and lift 30 pounds. May require working and travelling in rough and uneven terrain. Must have the ability to safely operate a 4-wheel drive vehicle off-road on steep mountain grade roads and travel in a helicopter to remote mountain top locations.
