is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This role will focus on the comprehensive architectural design of advanced customer-facing web and mobile applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing infrastructure to deliver detailed system designs.
  • Conducting assessments and code reviews, mentoring fellow engineers, and evolving coding standards and best practices.
  • Engaging in data modeling and participating in complex troubleshooting of both production and pre-production systems.
  • Creating frameworks and utilities to enhance system performance.

In this position, you will interact with senior management to devise solutions for domain architecture. You will proactively cultivate relationships to influence business and functional priorities, ensuring alignment of technical solutions and roadmaps with business objectives.

Your role will involve:

  • Evaluating new and existing technology options that support business goals.
  • Executing high-profile projects while providing thought leadership and assessing critical paths for implementation.
  • Defining and ensuring alignment with domain strategy, delegating implementation tasks to DevOps team members.

As a Lead Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Design an architecture that prioritizes flexibility, reusability, scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Collaborate with dependent domain architects to ensure cohesive architecture across systems.
  • Identify gaps in architecture and solution designs, proposing remediation efforts or mitigation strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating practical solutions that consider all teams, initiatives, and long-term objectives.
  • Making complex decisions aimed at enhancing quality, effectiveness, and achieving organizational revenue and strategic goals.
  • Leading the overall technical design and end-to-end solution design for assigned initiatives.

Ensure quality, consistency, and alignment of designs with business standards and digital strategy. Lead the technical design process for applicable cross-domain initiatives, balancing constraints in IT, business, and delivery to achieve optimal architecture.

Additionally, you will:

  • Provide input into the definition of Digital Architecture standards.
  • Own technical solutions on cross-domain initiatives, developing innovative solutions and technology strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain design deliverables, including architecture diagrams, data models, and API and micro-service architecture.

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Primary Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its foreign equivalent, with 5 years of relevant work experience.

Alternative Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its foreign equivalent, with 7 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in developing Cloud Native applications using AWS EC2, RDS, and networking and security.
  • Experience applying Microservices architecture for designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Proficiency in designing user interfaces and associated API orchestration solutions on AWS cloud.
  • Ability to define architecture optimizing for flexibility, reusability, scalability, performance, and availability using Microservice Architecture on AWS cloud.
  • Experience leading large cross-domain initiatives supported by end-to-end design and architecture.

Compensation:

The Washington pay range for this position is $182,312 to $187,312 per year. Actual pay will be based on various factors, including work location, qualifications, and experience.
