Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at Inflow-ns. As a JEMSO Consultant, you will provide cutting-edge services across the Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Agency Leadership: Provide expertise to agency leadership on various programs across the DoD and other services, focusing on operations, EMSO, Special Access Programs (SAP), Special Technical Operations (STO), and JEMSO policy.
  • Attend Meetings and Conferences: Attend meetings, conferences, and events in the National Capital Region (NCR) on behalf of JCER when travel is not feasible.
  • Advise Leadership: Advise JCER leadership on current National policy, JEMSO strategy, and associated publications.
  • Conduct Research: Conduct research on EMS issues, obtain relevant DOD documents, conduct studies, analyze operations, and develop required documentation to effectively and efficiently execute agency mission.
  • Coordinate with Joint Staff and OSD: Coordinate with Joint Staff and OSD to determine and evaluate JEMSO readiness metrics.
  • Analyze and Report Assessments: Analyze and report on assessments over the full spectrum of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Environments.
  • Obtain Current Information: Obtain current information on rapidly evolving EMSO and cyber threats, assess said information for impact, and incorporate changes into evaluation planning for same.
  • Develop Strategies: Develop and produce strategies to mitigate gaps and vulnerabilities of identified JEMSO capabilities.
  • Translate Impacts: Translate the impacts of emerging strategies to Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Services, and other Defense Agencies.
  • Assess Multi-Service and Joint TTPs: Assess Multi-Service and Joint Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to address focus area requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 20+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in JEMSO operations, designated as a SME, to include:
    • Obtaining current information on rapidly evolving EMSO and cyber threats, assess said information for impact, and incorporate changes into evaluation planning for same.
    • Developing and produce strategies to mitigate gaps and vulnerabilities of identified JEMSO capabilities.
    • Translating the impacts of emerging strategies to CCMDs, Services, and other Defense Agencies.
    • Assessing Multi-Service and Joint TTPs to address focus area requirements.
  • Ability to Attend Local Meetings: Ability to attend local DC meetings and engage personally with DC/NCR agencies.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance.

Work Environment:

You will be working in the DC area, with the client site address disclosed after your clearance is verified.
