Primary Objective: The Interpreter Readiness Lead is tasked with enhancing the global interpreter workforce through comprehensive training initiatives. This role involves conducting live training sessions, developing asynchronous training modules, and overseeing a portfolio of training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Bridging the Gap (BTG) training initiatives.
  • Conduct BTG classes regularly.
  • Oversee the registration process for BTG programs.
  • Recruit participants for training sessions.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for interpreters and client-facing sessions.
  • Engage in innovative projects and activities.
  • Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset in building departmental capabilities.
  • Support various mentoring and training programs within GLOBO University.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bridging the Gap training certification is preferred.
  • Proven expertise as an interpreter.
  • Demonstrated experience in training and development.
  • Familiarity with the language access sector.
  • Able to navigate and manage risks effectively, with a proactive approach to experimentation.
