The Opportunity

Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our cohesive team. This role offers a unique chance to build a successful career with global potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional and engaging service at all times.
  • Oversee the Front Office and Guest Services, including conducting interviews, departmental trainings, and providing hands-on support.
  • Ensure seamless communication between pertinent departments regarding special needs with guests.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and discipline staff when needed.
  • Coordinate arrivals and departures for guests.
  • Work with internal departments regarding billing.
  • Block rooms for arrivals to ensure proper handling of special attention guest, return guest, and groups.
  • Ensure all financial and credit procedures are followed.
  • Follow up on credit problems with Financial Manager.
  • Follow up with guest requests.
  • Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction, and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of Front Office or Rooms Division.
  • Must be flexible with schedule – able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evenings, and some overnights.
  • Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Must provide work authorization document – proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
