At OpenX, we're on a mission to unleash the full economic potential of digital media companies. As a Support Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring they achieve their goals in the digital advertising space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support to customers using the OpenX Exchange, DSP Connection, and OpenAudience Platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Account Management, Solutions Architects, Product, Engineering, and Sales, to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage the support case queue, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions and workarounds to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Leverage OpenX database knowledge to write SQL queries and scripts to deliver custom reporting needs for internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to solve discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Develop data-powered tools and dashboards to enhance efficiency, reduce SLAs, and enable cross-functional teams to perform effectively.
  • Author, edit, publish, and maintain an online knowledge base of articles for known issues, solutions, scripts, and FAQs.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5+ years of technical support experience.
  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience with relational databases, general database concepts, and writing advanced SQL queries.
  • Strong experience in data analysis techniques using Excel, SQL, Google Looker Studio, R, or other advanced analytics.
  • Experience with internet programming languages and protocols, including SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web servers.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PHP, Shell Script, XML, and REST API.
