Innova Solutions is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator.

Position Type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Onsite

As an IT Systems Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing software installations and upgrades for Windows operating systems and associated software packages, ensuring compliance with established policies and service level agreements.
  • Managing a Windows domain, including the creation and updating of group policy objects as required.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and wide area network issues related to assigned enterprise systems.
  • Collaborating with server and operating system vendors to troubleshoot problems, arrange services, and secure support.
  • Installing and supporting internal development software and applications.
  • Implementing a systematic schedule for system backups and database archiving to ensure data/media recoverability.
  • Conducting regular audits of server hardware and software to ensure compliance with established standards and configuration guidelines.
  • Possessing knowledge of networking principles related to LAN-based servers and workstations.
  • Overseeing proactive and reactive systems administration tasks to maintain the availability, integrity, and reliability of both networked and standalone systems.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in complex infrastructure design, including planning interactions among multiple applications (HA, DB, Large Networks).
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation of tools.
  • Familiarity with applications such as:
  • SMB, NFS
  • DFS
  • KMS
  • Certificate Authority
  • VMWare vSphere products

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in the same fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with deployment and automation platforms such as WSUS, PowerShell, and Ansible.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $55-$60/hr on W2.

*Pay range is based on various factors, including education, work experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
