Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer AWS/EC2/S3 cloud environments effectively.
  • Manage the AWS lifecycle, ensuring security, provisioning, and orchestration of systems utilizing industry-standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Maintain access control, data integrity, and data flow for AWS applications.
  • Support Windows 10, Windows Server, and RHEL 8 environments.
  • Customize, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-level applications.
  • Configure and maintain Linux virtual systems.
  • Automate Linux processes using Kickstart, Podman, and Ansible.
  • Utilize Containers and Docker for application deployment.
  • Deploy infrastructure through automation.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, along with agile system development and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Utilize Active Directory/LDAP for user management.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within interdisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain thorough documentation practices.
  • Recommend and implement necessary engineering design modifications to meet technical requirements.
  • Support critical operations during both standard and non-standard working hours.
  • Work must be performed onsite.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or
    • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or
    • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • DoD M IAT Level 2 certification required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience supporting DoD & IC Government clients.
  • Experience in non-traditional and highly technical classified environments.
  • Ability to present technical projects clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl) to enhance system administration efficiency.
  • Knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis of Linux applications and services.
  • Familiarity with LDAP for Windows and Linux Identity Management.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) security protocols on Linux and Windows systems.
  • Experience with patching, scanning, and auditing for compliance.
  • Familiarity with Nessus installation and configuration.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Understanding of certificate-based security protocols (TLS, SSL, OCSP).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, NAT, and subnetting.
