Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the Municipality of Anchorage, AK. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment and onboarding, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent to support our organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from posting job openings to making employment offers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop targeted recruitment plans
- Source and screen candidates, conducting interviews and reference checks as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in recruitment and onboarding, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII and the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
