Cath Lab Technologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at HCA Healthcare's Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, demonstrating clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with testing and therapeutics in the Cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Assist patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
Requirements
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire.
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
