Position Overview

As a dedicated Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our social media initiatives for our upcoming tournament operations. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable experience while allowing you to earn college credits upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in training sessions and demonstrate the enthusiasm and commitment to uphold the esteemed values associated with our brand.
  • Create an engaging and enjoyable environment for participants, fostering teamwork and serving as a positive influence during various activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement social media strategies that enhance brand visibility and audience interaction.
  • Respond to inquiries and engage with our audience across all social media platforms.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability on-site, coordinating efforts with fellow interns and staff.
  • Assist in pre-event and post-event planning and execution.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and set objectives in alignment with the Operations Team's goals.
  • Write articles and blogs summarizing tournament outcomes, updates, and events.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate.
  • Outgoing and personable with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A passion for sports along with experience in customer service, marketing, or media relations.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Experience with video editing software is advantageous.
