Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a dedicated Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our digital communication efforts for upcoming tournament operations. This internship is designed to provide valuable experience while working with a renowned name in youth baseball.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training sessions and demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to uphold the values associated with our brand.
  • Foster a lively and engaging environment for participants, serving as a positive influence during various activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at enhancing brand visibility and interaction.
  • Manage customer inquiries through our social media platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability on-site, coordinating efforts with fellow interns and staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of events, both prior to and following their occurrence.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and help set objectives under the guidance of the Operations Team.
  • Draft articles and blog posts that summarize event outcomes, news, and activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a college program or recent graduation.
  • Outgoing and approachable demeanor, with strong creative and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
  • Availability for varied work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in sports, with prior experience in customer service, marketing, or media relations.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Experience with video editing software is advantageous.
  • Students majoring in marketing, advertising, or communications are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
