Position: Airport Lounge Operations Leader
The Airport Lounge Operations Leader is accountable for the comprehensive management of a premium shared-use lounge operated by Hyde Park Hospitality. This lounge serves as a sanctuary for travelers, offering a refined atmosphere with exceptional food and beverage services, alongside outstanding guest relations prior to their flights.
This role emphasizes the development of emerging leaders within the team, fostering an environment conducive to professional growth and operational excellence while promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The Operations Leader will oversee all essential functions of lounge management, including Guest Check-In, Concierge Services, and Food Delivery, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.
The ideal candidate will cultivate a collaborative leadership style, acting as a key liaison between Hyde Park Hospitality and its partners. They will be responsible for crafting strategic initiatives that align with the company’s objectives, nurturing partnerships, and ensuring compliance with all operational regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership across all lounge operations, including team management and client relations.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing service failures and fulfilling guest requests promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, and various departments.
- Conduct HR functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, and team development initiatives.
- Drive compliance with operational standards, policies, and safety regulations.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness are consistently met.
- Monitor daily operations and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Establish a safe working environment through regular audits and training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of management experience in upscale hospitality, with a focus on food and beverage operations.
- A Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate a commitment to guest service excellence.
- Proficient in financial oversight and analysis.
- Must possess relevant certifications in food safety and alcohol service.
