Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Engagement: Deliver warm and friendly service to guests, management, and team members. Welcome guests as they enter the arcade, foster connections through conversation, assist as necessary, and extend courteous farewells.
  • Merchandise Oversight: Manage all aspects of service, presentation, and reordering of merchandise. Ensure the productivity and visual appeal of the merchandise area aligns with revenue objectives and departmental standards.
  • Game Management: Supervise a diverse array of video and skill games, ensuring they are ready for use and functioning optimally. Maintain an inventory of electronic and mechanical gaming equipment.
  • Technical Support: Address technical issues with arcade games and IT systems. Perform minor repairs, troubleshoot problems, and upgrade electronic components to maintain the arcade's operational integrity.
  • Preventative Care: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the arcade remains safe and well-maintained.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Guide and oversee a team of arcade staff, providing coaching and mentorship. Ensure team members are focused on customer satisfaction and departmental goals through effective training and delegation.
  • Inventory Control: Uphold inventory standards for merchandise by managing stock levels, cleanliness, and conducting audits.
  • Training and Assessment: Assist in the onboarding of new staff members in line with company protocols. Contribute to performance evaluations and ensure compliance with staff schedules and break periods.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with team members and management regarding departmental operations.

Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in arcade game maintenance or a related field. REQUIRED
  • A strong enthusiasm for arcade gaming, from classic titles to modern innovations.
  • Technical skills to address electronic challenges and ensure games are well-maintained.
  • A collaborative spirit, as teamwork is essential.
  • Attention to detail to identify wear and tear and report issues to management.
  • Organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly arcade environment.
