Qualifications

To be successful as a Medical Care Specialist at MGH, you will need:

  • Effective customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers
  • Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problems using strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and transport patients safely
Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience or training in clinical patient care is preferred.

Required Qualifications

You must be licensed, certified, or enrolled in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program at the time of hire, or be enrolled in a Nursing program, Pre-Med, or PA undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed at time of hire.
