Job Description

**Role Summary**

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Communications Specialist Intern. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of medical education slides, performing systematic searches of medical literature, and developing clinical trial manuscripts.
  • **Compensation and Benefits**
    • We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
    • You will be entitled to pro-rated vacation days, based on internship length.
  • **About the Role**

As a Medical Communications Specialist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including medical communications, market access, and health economic and outcomes research. You will be working closely with our team of experienced professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies for our clients.

**Responsibilities**

  • Support the preparation of medical education slides and other educational materials.
  • Perform systematic searches of medical literature to identify relevant studies and data.
  • Develop clinical trial manuscripts and other written content.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies for our clients.

**Requirements**

  • A degree or enrolled in a degree program in a scientific discipline (minimum or expected GPA 3.3).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written English and spoken English, and the ability to communicate scientific material clearly in both written and oral form for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan your own work effectively, with a proactive approach to task prioritization and time management.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong self-motivation, self-awareness, and willingness to learn, with a desire to contribute to the company above and beyond project work.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
