Nurse Care Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at SSM Health.
Job SummaryThe Nurse Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating daily operations with the leadership team to ensure the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for assigned ministries.
Responsibilities:- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts. Contribute to performance evaluations of staff.
- Serve as a resource to the staff.
- Manage patient flow within assigned areas.
- Provide support and coordination for patient emergencies.
- Open and lead incident command for internal or external disasters until relieved by assigned administrative representatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
