Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and clinics. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities:- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the health care consumer's health and/or situation.
- Triage each health care consumer utilizing age, developmentally appropriate, and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize and optimize health care consumer flow, expediting those health care consumers who require immediate care.
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the health care consumer or the situation.
- Implement, coordinate, and educate, to promote health and a safe practice environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Attain knowledge and competence that reflect current nursing practice.
To be successful as a Registered Nurse at SSM Health, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Additionally, you should be able to think critically and solve problems effectively, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
