Position Overview:

As a Sales Engineer for Industrial Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to market and sell conveyor belting and industrial rubber products. You will work under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate closely with the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting lead generation through cold calls, traveling across the designated territory, and engaging with new, existing, and potential clients to build a robust client portfolio.
  • Exhibiting product expertise through the use of samples or catalogs.
  • Carrying out assessments of customer equipment and product requirements.
  • Providing pricing quotes and drafting sales agreements for both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborating with inside sales representatives and support staff to maintain up-to-date account information.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Ensuring timely submission of necessary data for national account reporting.
  • Delivering estimated delivery dates to clients and addressing any delivery-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • At least five (5) years of sales experience is preferred, particularly in industrial B2B sales, although training is available for the right candidate.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively present information in both individual and small group settings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials (primarily during initial training).
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and upper body rotation; frequent pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, reaching, and some climbing may occur (primarily during initial training).
