This is an exciting opportunity to join ABB LTD as an Industrial Systems Engineer, where you will play a key role in supporting the production startup and ramp plans through project management. As a technical expert, you will provide support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring that projects are completed in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Support production startup and ramp plans by providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Proposal and Presentation: Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
  • Design Verification: Utilize checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
  • Manufacturing Process Documentation: Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including facility layout, process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, takt time assessments, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years experience.
  • Preferred Experience: Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis - Project Management - SAP - Manufacturing - ProPlanner - FlexSim - AutoCAD - SolidWorks - Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Value Stream Mapping, Labor Routings.
  • Availability: Occasional 2nd shift availability.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB LTD in the US.
