Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Swedish Issaquah. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line customer service to patients and families, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate patient registration, including verifying demographic and financial information, obtaining necessary consents, and escorting patients to their destinations.
  • Assist patients with financial assistance programs, processing paperwork, and serving as a liaison to other departments as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients and families with billing, insurance, or collection questions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including demographic and financial data.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably inpatient or outpatient admitting.
  • Patient registration or financial counseling experience preferred.
