Analytics Manager for Epic Cogito

As a key player in the realm of data and analytics, the Manager of Cogito Analytics will oversee a diverse array of Epic Cogito tools and products. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and effective management of the Cogito reporting team.

Core Responsibilities
The Manager will:
- Provide leadership and direction to the analytics team, ensuring that projects are in sync with organizational objectives.
- Oversee daily operations and staff management of the Cogito Reporting Team.
- Collaborate with various analytic teams to address stakeholder needs effectively.
- Engage in strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing analytics solutions, including expanding data models.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and fulfill analytic and reporting requirements across clinical and operational domains.
- Coordinate analytics tasks and manage resource allocation efficiently.
- Guide team members in translating business needs into actionable analytics, reports, and dashboards.
- Identify potential issues and risks, ensuring appropriate resolution and documentation.
- Assist in the design and development of innovative analytics applications and tools.
- Review and implement upgrades related to analytics tools and content.
Technical Expertise
The Manager will act as a liaison with the Clarity platform team, gathering user requirements and translating them into validated business intelligence solutions using tools such as Cogito SQL, Clarity, and Caboodle. Responsibilities may also include:
- Developing and implementing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions utilizing Epic Cogito Data.
- Creating and editing SQL queries to extract necessary data for reporting.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to optimize software performance.
- Staying updated with emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
- Coordinating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of analytics solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Epic Cogito Fundamentals.
- Extensive experience in healthcare data analytics or SQL reporting.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with reporting tools.
Work Environment
