Position Overview:
The Beaker Application Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Digital team at Partners HealthCare, reporting directly to an Application Manager. This position is integral to the configuration, development, testing, and support of the Epic Beaker application.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide certified expertise in Epic Beaker build for effective product implementation.
- Analyze current business practices and translate them into configurations and workflows.
- Support departmental teams with application and information system knowledge.
- Communicate and escalate critical concerns regarding project timelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation of business and system requirements.
- Conduct analysis of business processes to ensure accurate system configuration.
- Create and maintain status reports and system design documents.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project activities and updates.
- Assist in preparing testing scripts and perform various testing tasks.
- Engage in post-implementation support and participate in on-call rotations.
- Undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving business and technical needs.
- Clinical or technical experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic or other Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse meetings.
- Analytical skills with a quick learning ability for new concepts.
- 3+ years of experience with EHR systems is preferred.
- Previous experience with Epic implementation is a plus.
- Active Epic Beaker CP Certification is preferred or must be obtained.
