Position Overview:
The Beaker Application Coordinator will report to an Application Manager within the Digital team at Partners HealthCare. This role is integral to the configuration, development, testing, and support of the Epic Beaker application.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver certified Epic Beaker build expertise to ensure successful implementation.
- Analyze current business practices and translate them into effective configurations and workflows.
- Provide application and information system knowledge to support departmental teams.
- Identify and communicate critical issues related to project timelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation of business and system requirements.
- Conduct thorough analyses of business processes to ensure optimal system configuration.
- Prepare regular status reports and maintain necessary design and build documentation.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project activities and updates.
- Assist in the preparation of testing scripts and conduct various testing tasks.
- Support post-implementation activities and provide ongoing production support.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving business and technical needs.
- Preferred clinical or technical experience in a laboratory setting (CLS/MT certification).
- Hands-on experience with Epic, Data Innovations, or any Laboratory Information System (LIS) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with laboratory workflows and their application in information system design is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse meetings effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and a quick learner of new concepts.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with EHR systems as an end-user or analyst is preferred.
- Previous experience with Epic implementation is a plus.
- Active Epic Beaker CP Certification is preferred or must be obtained.

- Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.

Working Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work environment, primarily remote, with occasional on-site attendance required for project-related activities such as testing, user support, and training.
