Core Responsibilities
In this managerial role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Cogito reporting team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and direction to the analytics team, ensuring projects are in sync with system objectives.
- Managing the operational aspects of the Cogito Reporting Team.
- Collaborating with various analytic teams to support stakeholder needs.
- Participating in strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing analytics solutions.
- Engaging with stakeholders to assess and address analytic requirements across clinical and business functions.
- Coordinating analytics tasks and managing resource allocation effectively.
- Translating business requirements into actionable analytics, reports, and dashboards.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with analytics projects.
- Assisting in the design and development of analytics applications and tools.
- Reviewing upgrade documentation and implementing necessary changes.
Technical Expertise
You will serve as a subject matter expert in Epic Cogito and associated technologies, utilizing tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and Snowflake to create impactful data presentations. Your role will involve:
- Gathering user requirements and developing BI solutions.
- Creating and optimizing SQL queries for reporting purposes.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for analytics platforms.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
- Coordinating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Health Administration.
- Certification in Epic Cogito Fundamentals.
- Extensive experience in healthcare data analytics and SQL reporting.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading teams.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
