You will report to your Store Manager and take direction from the Assistant Store Manager and other team members. Key Responsibilities Articulate and showcase product features while providing tailored recommendations based on customer preferences. Achieve or surpass objectives related to customer satisfaction, sales, and retention. Assist in the opening and closing procedures of our retail locations. Accurately manage cash transactions. Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations. Collaborate with fellow sales associates as needed. Continuously enhance your understanding of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training sessions. May be required to work at different locations within the same area.   • As part of a customer loyalty-focused team, you can expect a variable targeted total compensation of $50,708 ($24.38/hr.), with top performers (the top 10%) earning an average annual compensation exceeding $65,304 ($31.40/hr.). This compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience level, and successful completion of sales targets. The compensation package includes a full-time hourly base rate of $17/hr. along with monthly targeted commissions of $1,279. Employees will receive a ramp period of up to 2 months to adjust to commission earnings.

Who You Are

Qualifications:

Minimum:
  • High school diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively promote products using a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build rapport and adapt to a diverse customer demographic.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to remain mobile within the store for extended periods to greet customers and demonstrate products and services.
  • Proficient in computer use with a willingness to learn about communication products, services, and accessories.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to assist with inventory management.
Preferred:
  • Some college coursework in sales, business, or management.
  • One year of experience in a related field (e.g., Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry).
  • Experience in selling Wireless/Mobile products.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
