Job Overview

As a key member of the marketing team, you will report directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning and execution of numerous regional and national exhibitions and external events for our organization across North America.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all trade shows and events.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales departments to create event strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all aspects of events are thoroughly managed.
- Provide timely and effective communication regarding all programs and opportunities to stakeholders, including detailed briefing documents and logistical information.
- Establish and implement efficient processes for vendor management and internal communications.
- Track leads and measure return on investment (ROI) for events.
- Manage on-site logistics, travel arrangements, and additional activities as required.
- Create detailed plans for each event, covering timelines, responsibilities, budgets, and promotional opportunities.
- Work with marketing and product teams to develop pre and post-event communication strategies.
- Ensure all trade shows are executed within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with external vendors to guarantee timely delivery of products and displays.
- Oversee the inventory and distribution of branded promotional materials.
- Build relationships with industry associations and event teams.
- Identify co-marketing opportunities with distributors and internal sales representatives.
- Organize customer receptions at trade shows.
- Coordinate with the legal team for necessary updates to liability insurance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Minimum of five years of marketing experience, with at least two years focused on trade shows.
- Proven track record in event planning and management best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management capabilities.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
