Event Sales Manager Job Description

At Hyatt Regency Atlanta, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Sales Manager to join our team. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling and servicing events, with a focus on banquet food and beverage sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and service events, including menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services
  • Review contracts and facilitate communication with hotel staff to ensure a high level of service
  • Host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Participate in event meetings and other staff meetings
  • Work closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of event, sales, or event management trainee experience
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
