Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Highland, Indiana

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to develop comprehensive pricing for bid proposals and packages. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in estimating costs for construction projects, product manufacturing, or related services to facilitate bidding processes and pricing strategies. Key responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather historical cost data for accurate estimations
  • Engage with clients and suppliers to clarify project requirements
  • Prepare detailed estimates for management review
  • Analyze technical drawings and project documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors
  • Examine contract and bid documents for compliance
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress
  • Draft proposals for client consideration
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Department for technical insights
  • Support project managers in execution
  • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations
  • Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as construction industry standards, is crucial.
