Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Highland, Indiana

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable Electrical Estimator to generate precise pricing for bid proposals and packages. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in estimating costs for construction projects, product manufacturing, or related services to facilitate bidding processes and pricing strategies. Key responsibilities include evaluating blueprints, collaborating with stakeholders, and nurturing relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather historical cost information
  • Engage with clients and suppliers
  • Prepare estimates for management review
  • Examine blueprints and related documentation
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors
  • Review contract and bid materials
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Draft proposals
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Department
  • Support project managers
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
  • Undertake additional tasks as required
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as construction industry standards, is crucial.
