Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Highland, Indiana

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to generate comprehensive pricing for bid proposals and packages. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in estimating costs for construction projects, product manufacturing, or related services to facilitate bidding processes and pricing strategies. Key responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather historical cost information
  • Engage with clients and suppliers
  • Develop estimates for management review
  • Examine blueprints and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors
  • Assess contract and bid documents
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Draft proposals
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Department
  • Support project managers
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
  • Execute additional tasks as required
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as construction industry standards, is crucial.
