Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Highland, Indiana

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to generate precise pricing for bid proposals and packages. The ideal candidate will possess experience in estimating costs related to construction projects, product manufacturing, or similar services to facilitate bidding processes and pricing strategies. Key responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather historical cost information
  • Engage with clients and suppliers
  • Develop estimates for management review
  • Examine blueprints and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors
  • Review contract and bid materials
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Draft proposals
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Department
  • Support project managers
  • Adhere to company policies and safety standards
  • Execute additional tasks as required
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and construction industry standards is crucial.
