Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to facilitate the design, execution, and ongoing support of our Next Generation 9-1-1 services. This role will emphasize the planning and deployment of our services while serving as the advocate for our customers throughout the deployment journey. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, coordination, and successful delivery of NG911 services, from call ingress to the public safety answering point (PSAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute onboarding processes and protocols essential for the rollout and maintenance of NG9-1-1 services.
  • Oversee communications and processes with telecommunications service providers.
  • Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to meet project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for ingress call routing challenges.
  • Identify and implement innovative processes, program enhancements, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate risk management as part of service deployment oversight.
  • Drive collaboration between product, operations, and service delivery to foster business growth and efficiency.
  • Support the fulfillment of our contractual service obligations throughout deployment and maintenance phases.
  • Ensure horizontal alignment and coordination between operations and service delivery for the implementation and upkeep of services/software.
  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee our vendors and partners.
  • Report and present schedules, progress, and risks to senior leadership.
  • Generate KPIs from data sources to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in 911 systems.
  • Several years of experience within the 911 industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
