Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise documentation.
  • Develop and implement innovative communications solutions for customers, including process flows and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Utilize documentation tools such as MS Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe to create high-quality content.
  • Conduct reading comprehension assessments and scoring to ensure document clarity and effectiveness.
  • Familiarize yourself with aerospace and/or manufacturing processes, including AS9100.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical writer, with a portfolio that can be shared of previous work.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with process flows and incorporating multimedia content into writings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with technical requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI tools and automation, such as Chat GPT.
  • Certification in technical writing (e.g., from the Society for Technical Communication).
  • Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
